This is Fort Sumter...First shots of the Civil War fired here. The Union fired canons at Georgetown for months and basically leveled the place.	Well, you have to look close, but there are 2 deer here, first I have seen since deer season.	Trees!!! It has been marsh grass for a long time, the Carolinas are offering a welcome change of scenery.	Myrtle Beach....I was able to meet up with 3 granddaughters here and go out for dinner. A good evening.	Last one of these on the ICW, a pontoon bridge, you have to see this to believe it. Quite primitive, but it works.
It opens on the hour, they drag it to one side with a cable, then back.	Looking to the west as we passed through. Its days are numbered, a new high bridge is being built.	View to the east, several cars were waiting to cross.	Lots of shrimp boats, and pleasure boats along the way.	Well, we thought we beyond the monster sized housing after leaving Florida, well, not so.
Huge houses, both sides of the ICW. On the east side they look towards the ocean and the ICW.	Miles and miles of large homes and condos. No wonder the world thinks we are "gluttons" and "greedy"!
